Description |
D-Adz carved in the style of a Northwest Coast indigenous artifact. The D-adze handle is carved in walnut (not authentic) representing a beaver grasping a log in its forepaws. Its body forms the handle and the rear features a cross-hatched tail with a human face. The underside near the bone blade is carved with a "W" inside of a "D", Dixon's trademark. The polished blade is reportedly made from elk bone. It has been attached to the handle with sinew. The blade has a leather cover secured with a leather thong. |
